Municipal Stadium - Wroclaw (Poland)

The Polish city of Wroclaw, the district of Fabryczna to be precise, boasts the Stadion Miejski or Municipal Stadium in English. This arena will be the venue for three of the group matches in EURO 2012. 

 

The construction work commenced in November 2008 and was brought to a successful completion in 2011. The stadium was opened in September 2011 not with a football match but the WBC heavyweight boxing fight between the Ukrainian world champion Vitali Klitschko and the Polish challenger Tomasz Adamek.
