POOL: LON-WA TDC

Actuation of electrically adjustable jet nozzles and swirl diffusers

The LON-WA TDC module is designed for the actuation of electronic adjustable air diffusors and jet nozzles especially in large rooms. Thus typical application areas are meeting or session rooms, theatres, airport buildings, counter areas and industrial halls.

LON-WA-TDC_240

  • Temperature-dependent actuation of adjustable air diffusers / jet nozzles

  • Operating modes: Heating, Cooling, Isothermal

  • Integration into LON network via FTT10A interface or Standalone operation

  • Actuation of diffusers with three-point or analog drives

  • Voltage supply 24 V AC/DC

  • Type of protection: IP 65

Jet nozzles
The electrically adjustable jet nozzles of TROX from the DUK-V series enable an adjustment of the supply air jet to the respective room conditions. The direction of the supply air jet can be adjusted in a temperature-controlled manner using the LON-WA-TDC module, for example. Jet nozzles are preferably used wherever the supply air of the diffuser must cross great distances to the area of use.
This is the case when an even introduction of the supply air via ceiling diffusers is not possible or sensible in large rooms (halls, auditoriums, etc.).

Swirl diffusers
With the electrically adjustable TROX swirl diffusers of the VD, VDL, and VDR series, the change of the blade position (horizontal, slanted, or vertical blow-off direction) for cooling and heating mode achieves an optimum purging of the area of use while observing high comfort requirements.
The motorised change of the blade position can be controlled using the LON-WA TDC module according to the room conditions.
Swirl diffusers can be used at both great heights (e.g. industrial workshops, airports, theatres, banks) and low heights of 3.80m (e.g. meeting rooms).
After the initial configuration of the operating conditions for the respective area of use, the module is immediately ready for operation. Depending on the difference between the duct and room temperature, the blow-off direction of the air diffusers is changed in such a way that a comfortable atmosphere arises in the area of use during the heating and cooling modes.

Standalone operation of the configured LON-WA TDC modules with connected air diffusers is possible. An integration into a LON network offers the advantage of changing the operating parameters centrally even during operation or also using temperature sensors integrated into the LON network.
